Educational Philosophy and Theory (the journal of PESA) publishes articles concerned with all aspects of educational philosophy. It will also consider manuscripts from other areas of pure or applied educational research. In this latter category the journal has published manuscripts concerned with curriculum theory, educational administration, the politics of education, educational history, educational policy, and higher education.

Journal on Educational Controversy an interdisciplinary electronic journal of ideas. The purpose of this peer reviewed journal is to provide a national and international forum for examining the dilemmas and controversies that arise in teaching and learning in a pluralistic, democratic society.

Journal of Philosophy of Education publishes articles representing a wide variety of philosophical traditions. They vary from examination of fundamental philosophical issues in their connection with education, to detailed critical engagement with current educational practice or policy from a philosophical point of view.

Studies in Philosophy and Education is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the philosophical, theoretical, normative and conceptual problems and issues in educational research, policy and practice.

Theory and Research in Education provides a forum for a truly multi-disciplinary approach to normative and theoretical inquiry in education and welcomes contributions from philosophy (including analytical, moral and political philosophy), political science, law, sociology, history and psychology.

Contemporary Pragmatism is a new interdisciplinary, international journal (inaugurated in June 2004) for discussions of applying pragmatism, broadly understood, to today's issues. This journal will consider articles about pragmatism written from the standpoint of any tradition and perspective, but it will concentrate on original explorations of pragmatism and pragmatism's relations with humanism, naturalism, and analytic philosophy. The journal welcomes both pragmatism-inspired research and criticisms of pragmatism. CP encourages interdisciplinary efforts, establishing bridges between pragmatic philosophy and, for example, theology, psychology, pedagogy, sociology, medicine, economics, political science, or international relations.

Education and Culture is an international peer-reviewed journal published twice yearly by Purdue University Press and affiliated with the John Dewey Society. It takes an integrated view of philosophical, historical, and sociological issues in education. Included are articles of Dewey scholarship as well as work inspired by Dewey's many interests.

Democracy & Education aims to provoke rigorous, open, and inclusive engagement with the challenges of educating youth in the pre-K-12 age span for active participation in a democratic society. This open access journal seeks to support and sustain conversations that take as their focus the conceptual foundations, social policies, institutional structures, and teaching/learning practices associated with democratic education.
