  A limited number of reduced price double rooms are available for graduate students on a first come, first served basis. 

  Graduate student rooms must be booked for the full 4 nights of the conference even if you need to leave earlier.  PES will subsidize the room taxes and arrange the room share. Student cost is $300 for 4 nights (Thursday-Monday). 

  To book these rooms, you will need to email Executive Director, Stephanie Burdick-Shepherd at burdicks@lawrence.edu to request a link to the payment portal. 

  Payment will be made to PES which will book rooms on your behalf.

  If you know who you want to room with, let me know in your email. To help with room assignments,  please let me know your gender preferences for the room share.

  EVENT DETAILS: Registration is open for the 2026 annual meeting of the Philosophy of Education Society, which will be held at the Omni William Penn in Pittsburgh, PA March 5 - March 9, 2026. 

  Early Bird rates are available until Friday, February 6, 2026.

  If you are a PES Member, be sure to select the member rate.  (You will be shown non-member rates as well.) If you are not a PES member, it's not too late to join and receive a significant discount on conference registration fees! Just be sure to become a member before you register for the conference.

  The William Omni Penn in Pittsburgh has a block of rooms available until February 11th, 2026 at the excellent rate of $159 per night. To take advantage of this special price, please book your rooms here. Graduate students can book shared rooms here. 

  You may notice that registration fees have increased very slightly. This is to account for the cost of credit card processing fees. Please bear in mind that breakfast and coffee breaks are covered by our relatively low registration fees, along with hors d'oeuvres at two evening receptions. Coupled with the intellectual stimulation and community, our registration fee provides all kinds of value!
